I liked the pool area.
the room had fleas and both me and my family were bit up. They did not change shower towels at all. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. The parking situation is horrible and the parking staff is rude. I would not stay here again.
Impressive, truly a Grand Hotel
Perfect location, in front of the sea side and near to the mountains. Useful lending of bikes, and vicinity to bicycle path of many kilometers along the shore (with tunnels)
Our room was spacious as was the bathroom. The pool was a very good size. The hotel was located within easy distance of both the station and the beach, shops, restaurants etc The hotel rented bikes and there was a lovely coastal route very close to the hotel. Food in the restaurant was wonderful if a little pricey. It was very quiet in the hotel , we heard no road noise even though it was situated on the beach/main road. Our beds were comfortable and the towels plentiful, large and soft.
There was a very unpleasant smell of urine in the bathroom and we had to keep the door shut. We mentioned it to staff at Reception. The next day there was a light smell of air freshener but the urine smell remained and we did not bother to report it again. There were lots of lights in the room but very poor light to read by or look at guide books etc. It was a huge hotel and it was not full by any means. We could have been given a room that did not overlook a storage area.
Friendly staff, lovely position with easy (mind the traffic!) access to the beach. Very pleasant food and wine for supper.
Floors in the diningroom are wobbly. Hotel is too much geared for mass tourism, it seems. Parking was rather chaotic with big coach blocking access.
We would convey our special thanks to Gintare for her excellent services at the reception. Hotel is perfectly situated and is very comfortable.
The beach is not reasonably organized. Too much place is occupied by cabines - not everibody needs it. The price of the beach is not justified. See the beach management of the hotel Villa Imperiale in Spotorno. It is more wise.
Value for money, we used it as a stop over from france on our way to portofino so it was perfect for that and fitted our bill
The location is great and the style of the hotel really nice. however, for the price we could expect more services: fresh juice for breakfast, italian coffee also, a swiming pool bar open in May and also a sauna included in the price (not 20 eur).. During my stay I was surprised by the few people working in the hotel.
Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Position of hotel very good with several bars and restaurants within easy reach.Great value for money and ideal stopover . We would certainly stay there again.
No wifi in room only in reception.
The hotel is comfortable with spacious rooms. The sea view rooms do face the main road which runs through the town which can be a little noisy if you like to have the windows open. The breakfast & room service was good. The reception was very helpfull and made suggestions for local restaurants.
perfect location on the beach, nice architecture and a comfortable room
rooms on the backside have very little light which might be a little bit depressing, the shower cabin is small
The situation, the view, the reception staff. Even though traffic is quite heavy in front of the hotel, the windows really kept the noise outside.
The bathroom was way too small compared to the good sized room. There was no shelf to put your toiletteries on. The shower cabin in our room (220) was not draining well and again very tiny. If you are a bigger size, you'll have problems getting in/out of the shower and moving around inside it. Also, the cupboard/wardrobe was very small. OK for us as we only stayed 2 nights, but for a longer stay it would have been very limited. Beware the hotel has no balconies.
The views, the spaciousness, the ease of access for disabled, that luggage could be taken by lift on the wheeled stand.
The dining room is lovely, the staff attentive, but the food at lunchtime was not up to expectations according to the attractive menu. Pork (tough) came instead of veal, and the red mullett (bony) was coated in almond crunch, not the "dried fruit". Wine and desserts as well as the lasagna were excellent. 82€ for two is quite a handsome price, .. not the best value
Everything was excellent. The Hotel, our room with the sea view, breakfast, dinners , what to say - excellent vacation for the money. The staff extremely friendly, helpful, speaking several languages. I would like to mention Victor, the swimming pool very friendly life guard giving us all of the information regarding the area. Excellent staff - from the reception clarks, housekeeping, bar tenders, no complaints at all! By our opinion - the best hotel in the area! If possible, we would like to be back!
Location and view.
At best this is a 2 star hotel. Very poor bathroom layout. Breakfast offered was also of a very low standard.
